A new video has hit the viral airwaves! This video is the second Flash Mob in the “Bedre Bustur”-campaign that brought you Mukhtars Fødelsedag back in May.

Mukhtars Fødselsdag was the documentation of an elaborate birthday celebration that was made to create attention on the bus drivers of Copenhagen. This new video deals with a different theme. Every week thousands of Copenhageners uses the busses at night. Either to go back and forth to work or as an element of going out. The night  bus is normally a place where people are left by themselves and something surprising very rarely happens.

As the passengers have contributed with a lot of great input on how to make the bus rides better through two campaigns it was decided to give them something back. And the night bus passengers were selected!

It´s been 4 months since we created and uploaded the viral movie “Mukhtar´s fødselsdag”. The Birthday celebration of Mukhtar, the busdriver from Arriva. Ever since the Bedre Bustur campaign the video have been talked about – forwarded and uploaded again and again! At one of the biggest danish online newspapers, politiken.dk, Mukhtar have been no. 1 as the most forwarded video since we launched it. There are many thoughts and threads to why it is so. Why did Mukthar get more than 1.mill. views in one week? Ask your self! why do you like it?

Last week we had DR 21 søndag (Danish Radio) visiting our office. They wanted to bring a story of the phenomena “Flashmob Marketing”. After the birthday celebration of Mukhtar, Kadaver have been contacted by various journalists wanting to know more about our work with the campaign Bedre Bustur.

That is what is great about the Internet! – in every little corner, someone is telling about his/her own take on a situation/happening, and through the channels online, this message can spread in all directions!  As Google´s CEO Eric Schmidt once said: “The internet is the first thing that humanity has built that humanity doesn´t understand, the largest experiment in anarchy that we have ever had.”
That is exactly what makes it interesting to keep “Googleling” around the web. Lately most of the searching has been to find articles and web pages that talks about Kadaver´s lates work, the campaign Bedre Bus Tur and Mukhtar, the bus driver.

The story of Mukhtars birthday is still floating on the internet and the views are ticking in from all over the world now! Its amazing to experience our work with bybird is being commented in such positive terms from all corners. Less than 1% out of some what close to 1 million people dislike the video… It´s pretty interesting how a video like this spreads around in the world. Comments, Emails, Tweets and Facebook updates keep growing and growing! This Morning Mukhtar the bus driver and main caracter of the video is being interviewed about his experience on the day. Last week we were responsible for the final element of the five week bedre bustur campaign for Arriva. It was marked by celebrating the birthday of a bus-driver. He had no idea that a celebration would take place! The result was a great day with a lot of surprises, especially for the bus-driver, Mukhtar!
