One year ago a group of people gathered around Stengade in Copenhagen to celebrate the birthday of now famous bus-driver, Mukhtar. Every now and again you stumble upon someone, who will inspire you! When working with Flash Mobs there are the obvious ones. The ones that everyone knows, has seen and refers to. In our efforts to create meaning and alternative ways of exposure of the good cause we, along with many others, have stumbled upon the concept of Flash Mobs. To those of you who don’t know of the concept here is a quick introduction. A Flash Mob is an event were a large crowd assembles in the public space. They then perform a brief and sudden action that is out of the ordinary. They then leave the premises as if nothing has happened. That is the short version of what the concept is. What we believe should be added to this definition is documentation. Although a Flash Mob event can reach a large audience at crowded locations it has an even bigger potential in viral life online in the form of a video. It is therefore essential that the event is covered by a crew of cameramen and possibly also by audio recordings. That will create a far longer life of the Flash Mob and that is very interesting.

What we find incredibly interesting is combining a Flash Mob with a purpose that is more than the creative disturbance. And as our company focuses on the good cause – that is what we aim to promote and create attention around by utilizing the potential that lies within Flash Mobs.

And in a few weeks we will have the first example of a Flash Mob with a purpose created by us… When ready the documentation will naturally be present at this page.
