This is just amazing! I found this blog post on http://mashable.com/ and I must admit, that I just copy pasted the text. All credit to Mashable for the wording and links. This project is just so mindblowing! See for yourself!

Just when we had almost given up hope on Nokia, along comes “Gulp,” a promotional stop-motion animation that broke a world record as the largest ever created.

The video showcases the Nokia N8 smartphone‘s 12-megapixel camera, using its Carl Zeiss lens to great effect. Shooting this clever video with three of the smartphones mounted atop a 118-foot-high crane, the Sumo Science team at Aardman Animations (some of whom also work on the Wallace and Gromit animated series) have succeeded in putting together a true work of art.

It’s been confirmed by the Guinness Book of World Records that the 11,000 square foot area used in the video makes this the world’s largest stop-motion animation.

The other day we came by this marketing stunt made by Tesco in South Korea. It´s a very interesting way to address a challenge. We find it super inspiring and would love to do something similar in copenhagen. It´s simple and spot on which makes it that more powerful. 2100.nu has been engaging the citizens in Østerbro with projects aiming to lower the co2 emission with 10%.
We were asked to create a short animated movie that could illustrate the achievements from the project. So if you need inspiration to what is achievable to do within a years time, then check this video out and feel the inspiration!
