We were so lucky to have Uffe Elbæk visiting the office today. An informal coffee invitation can take many directions and nobody knows where it will end before it is tried out. The “sharing spirit” that lives in Kadaver stems from our educational background and personal world views. By having the coffee with Uffe it was evident where the Kaospilot sharing spirit really stems from! Ideas, concepts and potential partners was shared during the coffee and again Network is a key word.

We are now very much looking forward reading the book that Uffe Elbæk just wrote, Ledelse på Kanten. There should be some relevant stories for us. Check out the book here: Ledelse på Kanten

Haus Cph is a graphical design company based in Copenhagen. Mikkel Bock who is one of the graphical designers helped Kadaver with our web page for a long time ago. He has a great touch and a creative way of using different forms of visual art to create digital online solutions. The Other day I, Søren, took a lesson about updating and editing the webpage. It´s a great little thing to be able to edit the webpage “inhouse”, that also means that various updates has been made on the Project page and the Partner page.

Haus-Cph are currently working on their own web page. When it´s up running, you will be able to check it out here: www.haus-cph.dk
I saw the drafts and I am very impressed! Felix, the other Graphical designers at Haus-cph are some times using Twitter, and you can follow him here: www.twitter.com/felix_ab

We are here at Kadaver looking very much forward for the future Partnership with the guys from Haus.

The likemind meetings have been happening for about one year in Copenhagen now. It have been an interesting way of meeting good people in copenhagen, and a way for Kadaver to see how the different social medias are working as promotion tools. The Copenhagen based Likemind has a twitter profile and a facebook page. Both with the purpose to drag people to join the meetings, and also with the purpose for participants to start sharing thoughts and projects and keep the new connection that might have happened. Lately the OsMig network was established on the Social Network platform Ning. It´s initiated by a good friend named Matias Ignatius, and I like the concept. Maybe that online network could use Likemind as a physical meeting facility ? The doors are open.

I am looking forward meeting you at the upcoming event.

Lately I have been more and more curious for how social medias are part of branding a company. How the word spread around the world wide web and traffic is generated. Blogging at this blog is a big part of the traffic leading to our webpage www.Kadaver.dk. Using various tracking systems to understand the different unique visits, I can highly recommend both WordPress statistic for wordpress blogging, Google analytics for webpages and Bit.ly to track and post url links posted on the social network twitter. In general I have found out that making references and getting mentioned on other blogs or pages creates traffic. To day I got to link facebook, twitter and wordpress together, and by some technical html support from our friend Casper Hübertz Jørgensen at Spoiled Milk, the pictures in the sidebar are now active links. Thank you Casper.
If you have any other hints or ideas for how to use the possibilities in web 2.0, please speak up.

How come that we at Kadaver choose to blog? What do we get out of it? and what do you get out of it?

Kadaver have now been blogging on this site for 3 weeks. During these 3 weeks we have made 10 posts, this is #11 and we have generated about 400 hits. In the statistics it shows that the different hits are coming from various links and not search results. from this we can conclude that our blog is still too young to be found on the search engines such as google. But still the various social networks provide traffic through our site. Last week we created the Climate Flash Mob in Copenhagen for Hopenhagen.org, Our video is on the internet and have by now more than 2300 hits in only 3 days. for this we can thank our network and the web 2.0 users that spreads the word about interesting things happening on a global scale. We got mentioned by the Green Energy Reporters , Eva from Belfast UkTobie from Denmark the municipality of Copenhagen , in the nation newspaper Politiken web section Ibyen By Jacob Klintrup and Søren Bo Steendahl. Then the Twitter community have been tweeting and linking to us, here is a screenshot of my TweetDeck application.

The Facebook users have made comments and “reposts”. Here is a screenshot of my status update when we launched the video.

All in all this is the reason for why we are blogging, it gives us the possibility to interact with the end receiver of our projects. It provides you with information of what we as a company are working with and thinking, and it gives you the possibility to comment, interact and connect with us. If you have any thought or advice you think we should consider feel free to drop an email or comment here on the blog.

Good vibes!

About one year ago two of the Kadaver partners, Søren and Johannes, were living in New York City for a couple of months. They were there as a part of the Kaospilot education program and work on a concrete assignment as is custom to the school. During their stay they came across a concept that caught their attention. The Concept is called Likemind and is a simple yet great way of networking. Through recent years we, Kadaver, have attended several networking events and we have found that there is more focus on the business card than the actual person behind it – that we felt was a shame. For us, at least, people are a whole lot more interesting than paper!

It seemed that the founders of Likemind shared our opinion. At the Likemind meetings it is the people, their thoughts and projects that is in focus and the business cards stays in the back pocket. That makes it possible to both engage in conversations and even just listen to what people have to say and get inspired that way.

To keep focus on the people in an even larger extend Likemind is not an after work event – but rather something that happens at the break of dawn. That way you will not meet people with a cocktail in hand but rather a steaming cup of morning coffee. And having a cup of coffee and meeting people early Friday morning is the perfect way of ending the week and starting a Friday.

If this concept has sparked some kind of interest the next Likemind meeting is October 16th at Din Nye Ven in Central Copenhagen – and of course set up and arranged by us, Kadaver… So see you bright and early at 8.00 AM
