Kadaver had the pleasure last week to participate in a workshop facilitated by the Freemium master Peter Froberg. Peter used a business plan development model, developed by Alexander Osterwalder to teach from. The work had two main focus areas, firstly to investigate what business model Kadaver is working out from and how it can improve. The second focus was to help Peter develop his approach to teach based on the model.
When the day ended we had been through a lot of brainstorming, developing, idea generating, business talks, discussions, frustrations and clarity!
The template that Peter was teaching from took care of areas as; what the company is offering, how we connect with our partners and costumer segments, our distribution channels, the income and cash flow, our resources, various activities and expenses. The template has a visual touch that makes it obvious use many of the brainstorming tools that Kadaver are familiar with from the Kaospilot education.
In the evaluation of the day, we could conclude that Peters skills in teaching about business models are of high quality! He is very good to give examples of how different companies are already using various business models and by doing that inspire to create further development of our own business.
In the establishment of Kadaver we have been pretty inspired from the tools that Start Up Company are teaching from. David Madié are using what he calls the Start Up Wheel, and with that in mind, the Alexander Osterwalder model was a very good inspiration.
It will be a model to return to here at the office, in order to see what areas we need to focus on in the future.
